Defining Asset Number Range

Asset Number ranges are defined in the transaction AS08. Go to transaction AS08. 

 

Enter the Company code and click on Intervals. Following screen appears: 

 

As per the client requirement, we can define new number range numbers. 

Now, we need to assign the number range number to asset class. 

Go to transaction OAOA. 

 

Double-click on any class. 

 

As highlighted above, the number range has to be assigned to the Asset class.
